Meghalaya: Former CM Sangma & 11 Congress MLAs be a part of Trinamool | India Information


KOLKATA: 12 Congress MLAs in Meghalaya joined Trinamool Congress on Thursday.
This contains former chief minister Mukul Sangma and 11 different MLAs. Congress had 18 MLAs within the 60-member meeting and Sangma, a five-time MLA, is presently the chief of the opposition.
Of the 12 Congress legislators who joined the Trinamool, eight MLAs are from Garo Hills, whereas 4 lawmakers are from Khasi Jaintia hills.
