NEW DELHI: The central authorities could quickly ban Hurriyat Convention as an “illegal organisation’ underneath the Illegal Actions Prevention Act (UAPA), citing the alleged involvement of its constituents and leaders in terror financing in Jammu & Kashmir as a major floor.
