NEW DELHI: The Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Tuesday prolonged a number of deadlines associated to tax compliances in wake of the difficulties confronted by taxpayers in digital submitting of sure types.
In a tweet, the Earnings Tax (I-T) division knowledgeable that the final date for e-filing of certainn types associated to equalisation levy and remittances had been being prolonged additional beneath provisions of the Earnings Tax Act, 1961.
Listed here are the revised dates:
* Equalisation levy assertion in Type-1: For monetary yr 2020-21 the timeline has been prolonged until August 31. Earlier, the deadline was imagined to be June 30, which was later prolonged until July 31.
* Quarterly assertion Type 15CC: Due date for this kind has been prolonged from July 15 until August 31. It’s to be furnished by authorised sellers in respect of remittances made for the April-June quarter.
* Assertion of revenue paid or credited by funding fund to unit holder in Type 64D: Final date has been prolonged until September 15
* Assertion of revenue paid or credited by funding fund to unit holder in Type 64C: Final date has been prolonged until September 30
* Intimation by pension fund for every funding made in India in Type 10BBB: The shape pertains to quarter ending June 30 and must be furnished by September 30.
* Intimation by sovereign wealth fund for funding made in India in Type II: Final date prolonged until September 30
